What eats spiders? |
This site illustrates spiders that I can find close to where I live in the UK. So, most photos were taken in West Suffolk, a few in East Cambridgeshire. I am surrounded by a great diversity of habitat - woodland, breckland, fenland, arable land. And, of course, I can search for spiders in my garden. Although I have been interested in natural history for most of my life it took me years to discover the interesting diversity of spiders in the countryside around me.
The pictures are not meant to display great skill in photography but, for what it's worth, they were taken with either a Panasonic Lumix FZ38 camera, with a Raynox DCR-150 or DCR-250 macro lens, or a Nikon 7100 with a Tokina AT-X Pro D 100mm f2.8 macro lens.
